Healthy Blackberry Banana Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

Get into shape this Summer with this breakfast smoothie you make in minutes using a blender. It is healthy, uses local seasonal produce, and is so easy to make. Use chia seeds to give that extra weight loss and health boost.

Basic Recipe

The basic version of this smoothie is to add a banana, handful of blackberries, tablespoon of honey and 3/4 cup of ice. Bend until smooth.

A more fancy version includes chia seeds


Fancy Recipe


1 banana

1 punnet blackberries

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 tsp Sweetener (eg Equal)

1 tsp chia seeds

3/4 cup of ice.



Add all ingredients into a blender, blend for 1 minute.
